Estudos sobre as bactérias Gram negativas intestinais originadasde lavado de moscas revelaram alta incidência de colibacilos,
Proteus e Shigella, e até mesmo a presença de l amostra de Salmonella partyphi B.
As moscas capturadas em açougues, bares, frutarias, residências
e no lixo depositado nos lotes baldios, em Goiânia.
As moscas presentes no lixo mostraram o transporte de
maior número de enterobactérias patogênicas do que as de outros
locais, embora também estas possam disseminar bactérias responsáveis pelas infecções entéricas, como ficou comprovado.
