IMUNOLOGIA DA LEISHMANIOSE TEGUMENTAR AMERICANA - II - IMUNOFLUORESCÊNCIA INDIRETA COM ANTÍGENOS DE "LEPTOMONAS" pessoai LEISHMANIA brasiliensis, LEISHMANIA donovani e T. CRUZI.

Estudamos 39 soros comprovados, de pacientes com Leishmaniose tegumentar, pela reação de imunofluorescênciaindireta contra antígenos de "Leplomonas" pessoal, L. brasiliensis, L. donovani e T. cruzi, após testarmos
os três primeiros antígenos contra 100 soros — 20 de doença de
Chagas, 20 de Pènfigo, 20 de Esquistossomose, 20 de Tuberculose e 20 de Blastomicose sul americana. Dentre
os soros do grupo testemunha as falsas reações positivas, (título superior a 20), alcançaram no máximo 9% com um dos antígenos, incluindo a doença de Chagas. Dentre os grupos
de pacientes de Leishmaniose tegumentar obtivemos — 32 casos positivos com títulos iguais ou superiores a 20 (82,05%) com todos os antígenos.
A L. brasiliensis revelou 18 casos (46,13%); a L. donovani revelou 15 casos (38,46%); o T. cruzi revelou 12 casos 30,76%) e o novo antígeno testado a L. pessoa! revelou 30 casos
(76,87%) sendo ainda que o maior número de casos com maiores títulos foi também revelado por este antígeno.
