Os autores relatam um caso de cisticerose canina generalizada em 800 necrópsias de cães, efetuadas no período de 1966 — 1970 na Escola de Veterinária da UFGo.O animal era da raça Pointer com 3 anos de idade e sofria de ataques epileptiformes. Foram encontradas vesículas de Cysticercus cellulosae no fígado, diafragma, coração e músculos.
