DIAGNÓSTICO DAS ESPÉCIES DE ANCILOSTOMÍDEOS DE GATOS DE DIVERSAS REGIÕES DO BRASIL

Durante os anos de 1972 e 1973 necropsiamos 60 gatos, dosquais 10 eram procedentes de Goiás, 10 de Minas Gerais, 5
do Rio Grande do Sul e 35 do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, e as
espécies de Ancilostomídeos encontradas, com suas respectivas
prevalências foram: Ancylostoma brasiliense (82,5%), Ancylostoma
caninum (49,2%) e Uncinaria stenocephala (3,1%); sendo que,
em nenhuma destas regiões foi constatada a presença de Ancylostoma tubaeforme, em gatos.
