De amostra única de Schistosoma mansoni, isolada durante um inquérito parasitológico emum grupo escolar de Goiânia ,(GO), foi estudado, experimentalmente, o índice de infectividade(susceptibilidade) da cepa do parasita em molusco Biomphalaria glabrata (de Belo Horizonte) eBiomphalaria straminea (de Goiânia), observando-se 70,00% de infecção paia a espécie glabrata enenhuma infecção para a espécie straminea,Por outro lado, com um lote das cercarias liberadas, foi testada e obtida a infecção de 10camundongos Swiss-instai que apresentavam patologia acentuada.Downloads
