IXODÍDEOS PARASITOS DE BOVINOS E EQUINOS DA MICRORREGIÁO DE GOIÂNIA, GOIÁS

Foram determinadas a prevalência e a frequência relativa de ixodídeos em 70 bovinosleiteiros e 77 equinos da Microrregião de Goiânia, GO no período de julho de 1992 a maio de 1993.Prevalências e frequências relativas de B. microplus (98,6% e 98,62%), A. cajennense (8,6% e 1,25%) eA. iiilens (1,4% e 0,13%) foram encontradas para os bovinos. Para os equinos foram encontradas asseguintes prevalências e frequências relativas: A. nitens (61,0% e 80,36%), B. microplus (51,9% e15,70%), A. cajennense (44,0% e 3,90%) e R.sanguineus (1,3% e 0,04%). Na maioria das propriedadesvisitadas, bovinos e equinos são mantidos em pastos únicos, determinando os altos índices de B. microplusnos dois hospedeiros. Contudo, os índices de A. cajennense nos bovinos foram baixos, provavelmentedevido à baixa densidade de equinos na região.Downloads
