COMPARAÇÃO DA PREVALÊNCIADE PARASITOSES INTESTINAISEM ESCOLARES DA ZONA RURALDE UBERLÂNDIA (MG)

A ocorrência de parasitoses intestinais foi avaliada em escolares do distrito de Tapuirama (Uberlândia-MG), em 2001 e 2003, pelo método de Lutz. A taxa de prevalência geral foi de 35,0%, em 2001, e de 38,5%, em 2003. Giardia lamblia foi a espécie mais prevalente em ambos os anos.
