Abstract

Um caso de paraplegia em uma paciente de 36 anos é associado a infecção nãoautóctone de Schistosoma mansoni, A possibilidade da presença de fatores que possibilitarão oestabelecimento desta parasitose no Estado de Goiás é discutida.
