Resumo

Objetivo: Analisar evidências científicas na área da saúde sobre os fatores intervenientes na amamentação do recém-nascido na primeira hora de vida no ambiente hospitalar. Método: Revisão integrativa da literatura realizada em agosto de 2020 em seis recursos informacionais. Resultados: Foram identificadas 282 referências, das quais, após aplicação dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão, 28 foram selecionadas para a síntese qualitativa, constatando-se que fatores multidimensionais interferem na adesão à amamentação na primeira hora de vida. Conclusão: Essa prática é influenciada por fatores maternos e neonatais e pelas práticas institucionais e profissionais instituídas no pré-natal, parto e puerpério. Reconhecer esses fatores é essencial para favorecer reflexões e mudanças nas práticas assistenciais e gerenciais em saúde, vislumbrando melhorias nas taxas de amamentação na primeira hora de vida e do aleitamento materno exclusivo e na redução da morbimortalidade infantil.
