Abstract

The following text explores, from a biographical perspective, the memories of those who had the experience of having been children during the forced exile of the last dictatorships in Uruguay and Argentina. I inquire here into the link between forms of knowledge, politics and affections, which
shaped childhood experiences and with them, a particular feature in biographical narratives. With this premise I wonder about the readings and various senses that kept the silence in the scenes reminiscent. These modalities between silence and the word have worked out a possible way to build a story and a history of their own about the experience of exile.
