The expansion of digital platforms in the labor market raises a growing interest in academic literature. In this field of studies, Uber, as one of the pioneering platforms, has established itself as the model of digitized work. The changes produced by
platforms that provide other types of services have so far been little analyzed, particularly in the Latin American region. This article explores the impact of digital intermediation in domestic services in Argentina through the Zolvers digital platform. It analyzes its effects on the labor conditions of the workers and suggests that
this type of intermediation can contribute to promoting the formalization of employment, but it does not eliminate the precarious trends that characterize the sector. It is based on qualitative research, that conducted 20 in-depth interviews with domestic workers working at the platform.
