Publicado em 2014, o livro Lives in Motion: notebooks of na immigrant in London é resultado da pesquisa de mestrado de Angelo Martins Junior. No entanto, a experiência individual desenvolvida em pesquisa sociológica não se originou com tal propósito. Ela começa com o movimento de um estudante brasileiro de Ciências Sociais que viaja à Inglaterra com a intenção de estudar inglês e experienciar a vida no exterior. A partir de então, inicia-se uma jornada pelas redes de inserção
ocupacional dos brasileiros migrantes que se engajam em
trabalhos de baixa qualificação em Londres.
