Abstract

O presente texto é um relato do projeto Passagem do Meio, que foi desenvolvido entre 2002 e 2004 na Universidade Federal de Goiás. Trata-se, portanto, do relato de um projeto de ação afirmativa para estudantes negros, que integrou a rede de projetos do Programa Políticas da Cor na Educação Brasileira, do Laboratório de Políticas Públicas da Uerj. Neste texto, procuramos descrever: (a) como este projeto foi concebido; (b) como foram feitas as seleções dos estudantes negros integrantes do projeto; (c) como foi o desempenho deles; (d) quais as adversidades enfrentadas pelo próprio projeto e pelos estudantes; (e) qual o resultado do projeto.
