Abstract

Neste texto, inicialmente, o autor discute o processo de ocupação de terras em Goiás, numa perspectiva global das "frentes" pecuária, agrícola e agropecuária, em seus diferentes momentos. Em seguida, caracteriza uma moldura institucional que garante esta ocupação latifundiária. Analisa, por fim, como outros grupos participam do processo, destacando a ocupação pela posse e pela grilagem.
