O aspecto decorativo da intelligentsia brasileira

Este artigo, a partir do conceito de intelligentsia, busca discutir a especificidade dos intelectuais brasileiros, pondo em relevo o aspecto decorativo que a inteligência assume no país. Para tal, recorre-se, entre outros, a Machado de Assis, com sua Teoria do Medalhão, a Sérgio Buarque de Holanda, em Raízes do Brasil, e a Luiz Costa Lima, com a idéia de “cultura auditiva”. Por fim, o foco da atenção volta-se para o fato de essa cultura ornamental se fazer presente, de forma bastante nítida, na formação de um grupo específico de educadores: os pedagogos.Downloads
