The present article tries to give an account of a continuous experience of its author drawing, in quick sketching, the daily life and the landscape framing of family summer holidays in a limited region of beaches, in the south of Portugal (Algarve). Colourful drawings, made in situ, are crossed with some marginal reflections with what is known of some reference figures of the visual arts.
