travel poetics, logbook, around the worldAbstract
In "A bordo dos dias" (“On board days”) we propose, from our notes, sketches, photographic and videographic records, to compose an article like a dialogical logbook, written collectively. In this relationship of the journey carried out with writing and contemporary poetics, approximations arise between wall/border, foreigner/resident, hospitality/hostility, territory/power, public/private space, North/South, experience/report. Thus, this nomadic logbook that traditionally accompanies travel becomes, for traveling artists, a theoretical, poetic reflection, and a way of answering Baudelaire's question: “Tell me, what did you see?”. The logbook is also the journey.
