Abstract

With this text, I discus the uses of audiovisual as a device of research at/with the educational networks weaved inside/out schools. I include the modern practices on the verge of mainly audivisual cultures which call upon us to think with sound and images. I introduce experiences at public elementary schools in the city of Vitória and in the city of Rio de Janeiro and I suggest that the productions conducted there insert themselves at the threshold of audio-visualities, blurring the frontiers between different codes, genres,  production-consumption,  and expanding the possibilities for creating knowledge.
