Abstract

Analyze recent reconfigurations of the images starting from reciprocal influences between photography and cinema. Rethinking the notion of time within the modernists definitions of pure and straight photography. Establish the notion of form photography as a strategy to legitimize other movements and trends. Identify some aspects of the propositions of Raymond Bellour and Roland Barthes around the photography and the photograme. Analyze the installation 24h Hour Psycho, of Douglas Gordon, and the photography Potsdamer Platz, of Michael Wesely.
