Artistic dimensions of dressing: a research reporting
Abstract
This text is a partial reporting about the research developed during a master’s on Contemporary Cultural Studies at the Federal University of Mato Grosso, oriented by Professor Ludmila Brandão, as her Capes’ scholarship student and which was concluded in 2010. The corpus of this analysis was based on the experience of artists as well as ordinary people, looking for, in their daily poetics and mannerisms, elements to show how people dress themselves as part of a performing practice.
Keywords: Performing practice, art, daily life
