Abstract

This article presents the elements that make reference to the literary genre of the Gothic terror in the movie Bram Stoker’s Dracula  (1992), of Francis Ford Coppola. It presents bibliographical rising regarding the Goth’s birth in the European culture and the development of the Gothic literature. Starting from the analysis of content of the movie, considering scenery, temporary cutting, narrative and characters, the article appears as the characteristics of the Gothic tragedy they were reproduced by the film director, considering temporary cutting, settings, characters and narrative.
