Graffiti e pichação são intervenções urbanas contemporâneas que implicam discursos divergentes acerca destas manifestações. Objetivou-se, a partir de entrevistas com seis grafiteiros, debater os discursos produzidos acerca da diferença entre graffiti e pichação, buscando refletir sobre as relações entre arte, estética, intervenção e constituição dos sujeitos em contextos urbanos. Observou-se que os discursos dos grafiteiros ressaltam as diferenc?as estéticas existentes entre as atividades. Ambas as atividades permitem que os sujeitos apreendam outras possibilidades de habitar e se expressar na cidade, impondo-lhes outras regras, outra ética e outra ordem simbólica.
