Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The contribution is original and unpublished and is not being evaluated for publication by another journal in Brazil.
- The text is authored by a researcher holding a PhD. Doctoral, master’s and master’s degrees are also accepted, provided they co-authored with a Phd holder.
- The submission text is typed and saved in Microsoft Word 97-2003 editor, font Arial 12; line 1.5; justified paragraphs; A4 page format. Links are active. Use italics instead of underline or bold (except in URL addresses).
- The images (200 dpi, minimum size 800 pixels and maximum size 1600 pixels, JPG or PNG format) and tables are inserted in the body of the text, not at the end of the document, and were also sent as attachments (individual files).
- Urls for references were informed when necessary.
- The references contain the DOI (Digital Object Identifier) code of cited articles, when applicable.
- The text follows the standards of style and bibliographic requirements described in the Guidelines for Authors, in the section About the Journal.
- The authorship identification of the work was removed from the file and from the Properties of the Word file, thus ensuring the confidentiality criterion of the evaluation by the ad hoc reviewers, according to instructions available in Ensuring Blind Peer Review.
- I authorize the publication of the submitted article and early the copyright to Revista Visualidades, in the electronic version, if it is approved after the Blind Peer Review.
- The standard adopted by Revista Visualidades for the elaboration of the references is ABNT NBR 6023:2018 Corrected Version 2:2020.
- The opinions expressed in the text are the responsibility of the authors.
