ALTERNATIVAS ALIMENTARES PARA ANIMAIS NO CERRADO - MILHETO: APENAS UMA SOLUÇÃO PROTEICA?
Abstract
O Centro-Oeste é uma região caracterizada pelo desenvolvimento de extensas áreas de agricultura e pecuária, sendo os principais gêneros agrí- colas produzidos o algodão, milho, arroz, cana-de-açúcar, soja e sorgo. Na pecuária, é a região que apresenta o maior rebanho bovino, com aproximadamente, 72 milhões de cabeças, equivalendo a 34,6% do rebanho efetivo nacional, sendo responsável por, aproximadamente, 50% da produção de carne produzida no país.
