O EFEITO DA QUEIMADA NA CONDUTIVIDADE HIDRÁULICA DO SOLO EM AGRICULTURA DE ROÇA-DE-TOCO

Resumo

No Brasil, a agricultura tradicional ainda é muito praticada pelos pequenos agricultores, muitos ainda utilizam o método de queimada para limpeza de terreno para o plantio, chamada de agricultura de roça-de-toco. O fogo causa diversas mudanças no solo: física, química e biológica. Muitos estudos têm mostrado as alterações físico-químicas negativas no solo, no entanto, há uma carência na literatura de estudos que avaliem o comportamento do solo para melhor entendimento do sistema de pousio. O presente estudo avaliou a capacidade de condutividade hidráulica de água em solos submetidos à queimada que se encontram em diferentes estágios de pousio, em uma escala de 0 a 15 meses e de 0 a 12 anos, na comunidade faxinalense, Tijuco Preto, no município de Prudentópolis, Paraná. O solo apresentou repelência a água no primeiro mês e maior condutividade hidráulica no terceiro mês para as duas escalas analisadas. O aumento da condutividade hidráulica pós- queimada não se manteve permanente, diferenciando de outros resultados reportados na literatura.
