Qualidade de vida de indivíduos nascidos pré-termos: revisão de escopo

Objetivos: mapear o conhecimento produzido sobre avaliação da qualidade de vida dos indivíduos nascidos pré-termos. Métodos: trata-se de uma Scoping Review desenvolvida conforme o manual do JBI e estruturada com base nas recomendações do Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for scoping reviews (PRISMA-ScR). Foram extraídas informações referentes ao idioma, país, caracterização da população, principais resultados, além dos instrumentos e domínios utilizados para a avaliação da qualidade de vida de nascidos vivos pré-termos. Resultados: dos 509 títulos inicialmente identificados, foram incluídos 22 artigos. Estes apontaram os prejuízos na qualidade de vida causados pelo nascimento pré-termo, que podem ser maiores nas populações de nascidos pré-termo com alguma deficiência. Dezesseis tipos de instrumentos, respondidos por crianças, adolescentes e adultos nascidos prematuramente e por seus pais e cuidadores, foram utilizados para mensurar a qualidade de vida. Instrumentos aplicados aos pais ou responsáveis evidenciaram pontuações inferiores àquelas relatadas pelo próprio indivíduo. Conclusão: quanto menor a idade gestacional, maiores podem ser os prejuízos na qualidade de vida de indivíduos com nascimento pré-termo, principalmente no que tange aos domínios físicos, psicológicos, emocionais e sociais.
